RVBA proudly administers the WeCAP program for livestock and crop producers across Southern Alberta.
What is the Western Cash Advance Program
The WeCAP (Western Cash Advance Program) is a government-backed program that gives eligible producers access to up to $1,000,000 in advance funds, with the first $250,000 interest-free.
This program gives you the working capital you need to:
Cover operating costs
Pay bills during tough months
Delay selling until markets improve
Manage cash flow through the production cycle
You stay in control of your operation while gaining some breathing room on your balance sheet.

To qualify, you must:
Be a Canadian producer (individual, partnership, or corporation)
Be producing eligible commodities (including cattle, crops, and more)
Be responsible for marketing your own product
Meet basic credit and production requirements

Fill out the form and include all required documentation, such as purchase invoices, insurance, or financial statements, depending on the program.

Please send your completed application package to Rocky View Breeders Association. We’ll review your submission and follow up with the next steps.
